Downtown Grand Rapids offers only a few hotels for visitors or patients of the nearby hospitals. Third Coast saw this problem and wanted to provide another option for those visiting.  The Hampton now offers the closest rooms to the education, clinical, medical, and research facilities within Medical Mile and close proximity to downtown. The Hampton is a $27MM project built on seven-stories that contains 142 rooms and parking capacity for 200 cars. Since the opening of the hotel approximately 30 jobs have been created. The Hampton is part of Third Coast’s largest project, Mid Towne Village.
